Craftr

A full-stack, data-driven web app for Craftr - a three-day online digital-crafting event - where visitors create accounts, browse the programme, and register for specilist crafting classes.

Problem: The event needed a central hub that did more than describe itself - people had to be able to sign up, find classes that matched their skill level, and keep track of what they'd enrolled in.

Approach: I built it in Django against a PostgreSQL relational database, working from user stories and personas spanning beginners through to experienced crafters. That meant modelling the data, wiring up authentication, and implementing full CRUD so users could register for and manage their own enrolments - all behind a clean, accessible, responsive front end. The build was planned and prioritised using MoSCoW on a GitHub project board.

Result: A complete Django application that handles real accounts and real data, deployed to a live host and built to the standard of a production site.
