Full-stack Django web app

A free, searchable database cataloguing every official UK Doctor Who physical-media release. This wasn't coursework but a real, live product with real users, which I designed, built, shipped, and keep running.

Problem: Decades of Doctor Who releases across VHS, DVD, Blu-ray and box sets are scattered and inconsistently recorded, with no single, reliable place for collectors to look something up.

Approach: I modelled the catalogue as structured data and built a Django and PostgreSQL app around fast, forgiving search, then deployed it under its own domain. The harder part is what most portfolios skip - keeping a live site healthy, adding new releases, fixing what users report, and running it as an ongoing product.

Result: A catalogue people actually use, maintained over time with data modelling, and the discipline of shipping and then owning something real.
